Established in 1962, the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a youth leadership development program supported by the Department of the Navy and the Navy League of the United States. We help middle/high school students gain a competitive edge to stand out and excel beyond their peers when applying to college, military academies, scholarships, and job opportunities. We teach today's youth about leadership, community service, military careers, citizenship, and teamwork. We mentor and prepare our Cadets for whatever their future may be. We are a team that strives for excellence!
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets has two programs...
We have nearly 400 units in 46 states, Guam and Puerto Rico. Our cadets wear Navy uniforms and can train aboard naval ships and on naval bases. Our compelling training program occurs around the country during school vacations and covers various careers fields. Our program changes lives by exposing cadets to new challenges and teaching them important life skills like leadership and teamwork.
